Revenue Accountant

We are looking for a diligent Revenue Accountant to join our accounting department. The Revenue Accountant’s responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, integrally assisting with the monthly close processes, and maintaining proper accounting documentation. The Revenue Accountant will also assist the Revenue Accounting Manager as needed and respond to information requests by management and for auditing purposes.

The pay range for this position is between $75,000- $95,000/year, and the position offers a 5% target bonus; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits offered by 360training. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Journal Entries to record online credit card sales
• Reconcile large volume credit card receivable accounts weekly
• Record credit card merchant fees and chargebacks for various merchant accounts
• Maintain supporting documentation for accounting records
• Assist with accounting for revenue recognition
• Perform accounting research and analysis
• Support of annual financial statement audits
• Assist with sales, use, and income tax compliance matters
• Other projects as necessary
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Ability to learn and work with different systems, including NetSuite, various merchant accounts, Excel, and Vertex
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and recent pronouncements
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills with large sets of data
• Highly organized and detailed-oriented
• "Can do” attitude and willingness and desire to do whatever it takes.
