Job description

ASRC Federal Is Seeking a Technical Solutions Specialist, Systems Migration To Join Our Team Supporting The Veterans Administration Systems Modernization Effort. The Technical Solutions Specialist Will

Serve as a Systems Analyst in a large Program Management Office (PMO), performing tasks such as updating project schedules, tracking risks and maintaining documents such as status reports and briefings.
Serve as the primary liaison to bridge the gap between business operations and the technical teams.
Work with technical teams to gather any data that provides input into assessment activities. Understand what to ask for as this can range from trouble ticketing, system performance reports, configurations, and architecture.
Produce documentation that outlines current system resources (memory, CPU, hosting environments).
Produce documentation that outlines the interfaces and overall architecture.
Support project management activities and communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a systems engineering role.
Previous federal contracting experience with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) preferred.
Experience with project management and large-scale system migrations.
Strong skills in documentation of system architecture.
US Citizenship with ability to obtain a VA Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+ certification.
Experience in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM), asset management, or facilities management environments.
Experience with asset management processes and systems.
Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
