Ansell is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our team preferably in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, or New Jersey!

In this position you will play a vital role in sales strategy, growth, business continuity and improving overall customer satisfaction in their assigned Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) Health Systems, Regional Purchasing Collaboratives (RPCs) and Strategic Customers in the U.S. Acts as primary point of contact for IDN executive level decision makers and works closely with the Region Sales Managers, Territory Managers, HSS Regional Account Managers to drive growth and achieve quota leveraging Ansell product expertise to communicate the full value of Ansell Healthcare.

What your role will be?

  • Interfacing with customers and actively selling Ansell Healthcare Products and Solutions to executive level decision making customers.
  • Developing and strengthening IDN/RPC Business Development and relationships at a Regional and National Level
  • Identifying, targeting, and closing strategic corporate opportunities through a disciplined project management approach.
  • Leading multiple active customers and new opportunities simultaneously.
  • Conducts routine business reviews with customers and internal Ansell stakeholders. 
  • Developing Proposals, Submitting RFP content with Field Sales, Marketing and Contract teams.
  • Source’s input, trend and competitive information
  • Understands customer priorities, challenges, business plans and translates that into Ansell strategic plans to deliver relevant value proposition that align with customer objectives.
  • Developing the strategy and aligning on customer targeting, selling, activity coaching, contracting, legal, finance and deal modeling.
  • Full utilization CRM to include keeping pipelines current, creating, and maintaining customer profiles, adding customer contacts, creating, and keeping the assigned customers bid calendar current
  • Provides leadership in planning, strategic design, and implementation of business objectives to retain existing customers and grow assigned new large strategic customers
  • Jointly accountable with the Field Sales team for delivering sales objectives.
  • Supports the development and implementation of a consistent, coordinated approach to pricing, forecasting and other core requirements and maintains consistent pricing process and strategy.


 

What will you bring to Ansell?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ sales experience, preferably in Acute Medical Markets.
  • Demonstrated sales success, President’s Club achievement a huge plus!!
  • Experience selling surgical gloves, exam gloves OR turnover kits and/or surgical supplies a major asset!
  • Strong Channel knowledge, IDN Sales and Major Account Management preferred!
