Ansell is looking for a Manager, Trade Compliance & Supply Chain Security to join our team remotely!

In this position you will play a vital role in managing customs compliance for import and export trade activity for North America.  This position manages Trade Compliance metrics and supply chain security goals & objectives.  The role will interact with US, Canada, Mexico, and other Customs agencies in the Americas region, as well as other partner government agencies (i.e., FDA, USDA, CFIA, etc.) and internal and external customers on matters pertaining to Customs, import/export regulations and compliance.

What your role will be?

  • Manages security programs for Ansell’s global Supply Chain network
  • Facilitates monthly and quarterly meetings with key stakeholders
  • Document current processes and enhance as needed to establish robust internal controls to ensure compliance with Customs’ CTPAT and AEO guidelines
  • Coordinate with Logistics, Finance, Quality, and Legal functions to ensure compliant and timely handling of Ansell’s inbound shipments
  • Manages foreign supplier, freight forwarder, and carrier compliance with CTPAT and AEO regulations and policies
  • Support due diligence activities tied to acquisitions and mergers and incorporate these entities into Ansell Global Trade Compliance program
  • Interacts and support peer functions in support of Ansell’s Global Trade Compliance program
  • Assists with HTS classification responsibility
  • Effectively and professionally manage Ansell’s relationship with various Customs and Partner Government Agencies (FDA, USDA, CFIA, SAT, etc.) to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations and policies.
  • Works with Director, Global Trade Compliance to continually enhance strategic plans to improve Ansell’s Trade Compliance program
  • Supports country of origin determination and other free trade agreement compliance requirements
  • Duty Drawback program monitoring & supporting
  • Develop and deliver internal compliance training
  • Support ISF programs and other security programs
  • Respond to trade compliance inquiries (CF28 & CF29) by governmental agencies
  • Evaluate new products from internal teams to advise on duty rates and to find any potential import duty cost savings
  • Knowledge of product regulatory certifications under the FDA
  • Work with the ACE, CTPAT and other government portals.


What will you bring to Ansell?

  • 5 years or more of years direct Customs compliance experience.
  • Direct experience with CTPAT, AEO, OEA, or other supply chain security programs.
  • Prior experience with import/export activities & logistics is recommended.
  • Preferred experience with an importer.
  • Customs Broker’s license and Certified Customs Specialist highly preferred.
