WHAT YOU'LL DO

Every single day, our Marketing team searches for surprising and refreshing ways to create connections with our consumers.

In this dynamic role, you'll lead our Brand team in developing and implementing innovative business and marketing plans to drive share, sales and profitability You'll be at the forefront of creating consumer driven, brand-led strategies that drive consumer engagement, trial, and loyalty. From managing external vendors to collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure that our go-to-market plans align with our brand priorities and deliver exceptional results.

Direct Reports: Brand Manager(s)

Location: Onsite at our Preston, WA office 5 days a week

Annual Bonus Potential: 40% Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.

Base Salary: $215,000 - $250,000 (depending on experience)

Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.

  • Develop and implement annual business and marketing plans to achieve sales, market share, and profit goals. Lead the execution of these go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with brand and company priorities, organizational capacity, and budget constraints. Manage external vendors and agencies to ensure deliverables meet quality and budget standards.

  • Conduct business reviews to measure, analyze, and report performance against goals. Identify key challenges and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance brand performance. Proactively offer solutions based on consumer, market, and retail metrics to address business opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

  • Partner with the CGO, championing a consumer-driven business model and culture. Translate consumer, category, customer, and competitive market insights into actionable annual business plans and long-term growth strategies. Serve as a brand storyteller, coaching others to effectively communicate the company’s narrative.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive intelligence, representing the company at events and maintaining a strong professional network.

  • Design and implement innovative growth strategies for the product portfolio. Collaborate with Product Development & Innovation teams to establish long-term business visions, including three-year strategic plans.

  • Lead the commercialization of new product innovations by developing launch plans and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Partner with the Leadership Team to shape the innovation pipeline and growth initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Planning and Category Management teams to create compelling selling stories using consumer, category, and market insights, and participate in key account reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and gain valuable retailer insights.

  • Work closely with internal teams—including Insights, R&D, Media & Marketing Operations, Omni-channel & Shopper Marketing, E-Commerce, and Creative teams—to ensure brand equity alignment and seamless integration across the company’s programs and in the market.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, accountability, and professional development.

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 15+ years of experience in in brand management within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, with a preference for food/beverage sector experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience directly managing managers and a team of 3+ employees

  • Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar marketing budgets, driving efficient spend and maximizing return on investment.

  • Experience conducting regular reviews of business effectiveness/efficiency and making these reviews part of the business process.

  • Proven track record in creating, executing, and measuring marketing and sales plans that drive brand growth and consumer engagement.

  • Proven ability to lead the creation of long-term growth strategies that directly contribute to sales and profitability.

  • Strong analytical skills, including experience in syndicated data analytics, quantitative and qualitative consumer research, product validation, insight mining, and retail customer and shopper data.

  • Experience leading agencies, vendors, and creative brief processes and evaluating the effectiveness of creative assets.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to both internal and external audiences and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and negotiating with external vendors to ensure timely and budget-conscious deliverables.

  • Exceptional ability to craft compelling executive-level presentations that align with brand strategy.

  • Acts as a calm and settling influence in crisis situations and is looked to by others for direction and guidance.

  • Can efficiently and creatively solve complex problems that your organization or the entire company.

  • Ability to enlist commitment by involving others early and often as well as building behind the scenes support for ideas, strategies and goals.

  • Can communicate complex concepts and issues effectively, selecting language, tone and format targeted to the audience.

  • Sets high standards of performance and holds managers and employees accountable for delivering objectives.

  • Ability to outline a clear direction for teams and understand the interdependencies across the company to deliver on strategic priorities.
