Job description

About this Role:

Wander is a growing fast-paced startup, hiring a full-time Investor Relations Analyst. You will work remotely as a member of the Finance Team to support both internal and external reporting. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys thinking cross-functionally, is savvy with reporting technologies, and is both creative and analytical. You will report directly to the VP of Finance. 

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate, improve, and create all reporting materials, such as board and investor decks

  • Create a strong and meaningful storyline about our business using relevant research and data

  • Perform market, competition, and market portfolio research

  • Interface cross-functionally to properly understand and report on all business areas

  • Reading, analyzing, and assessing market and industry data, reports, graphs, charts, and other findings

  • Support investor relations and fundraising efforts

  • Build strong working relationships with internal team

  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of supporting databases

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a schedule of Monday-Friday 9-5 EST 

  • Strong storytelling, writing , and research skills

  • Bachelors in Business Administration; MBA preferred

  • Experience at a start-up, venture capital firm, or investment group

  • Proficiency in understanding market research and finding data points to support arguments

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint with strong slide preparation experience

  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation)

  • Strong editing, proofreading, and project management skills with attention to detail

  • Have a laptop

  • Have internet access at home (this job is remote)

  • Interest in long-term employment and career growth at a high growth tight-knit company
