Internship IT - Application Management
You’ll run through our “Best internship in Retail” and learn on the job while support the team with following:
- Support day-to-day operations of our key back-end applications. To make sure our customers receive their orders and world-class service.
- Monitor our operational processes for mainly our ecommerce domain
- Create insights in our workload, applications and processes
- Setup and improve our internal working processes
- Define optimizations for our applications
- Create documentation on our processes
- Create and maintain the backlog of all our improvements / changes
- Analyze and solve operational issues
- Coordinate and align changes and issues over multiple departments like ecommerce, logistics, finance, wholesale and of course IT.
- Learn from the IT colleagues
To ensure that we can deliver and take good care of the information we have from our customers and employees, security and privacy are important topics for the whole business.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You have an interest in IT
- You have a commercial mind-set
- You have a degree in business/economics/IT related study
- Familiar with analysis methods, tools
- IT development knowledge is a plus.
- A flexible attitude
- Dealing with English speaking staff and reporting in English
- Your way of working can be described as proactive, organized and with attention to detail
- You have a strong work ethic, you are motivated to learn, and could be described as dependable and reliable by those who know you
- You’re available for at least 32 hours/week
Eligibility:
For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in February 2025. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:
- You are an EU citizen,
- You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
- You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, AND the internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum.
