Data Engineer with AWS at Nordcloud

Currently, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Poland.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Designing, architecting and implementing modern cloud-based pipelines new data features for our customers
• Overseeing and troubleshooting data pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Making data accessible and usable for a new wave of data-powered apps and service
• Documenting processes and maintaining technical documentation
• Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, providing technical insights, and supporting decision-making

Your key skills:

• Hands-on experience working with AWS and the related services (S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Lambda are a must)
• Python
• Terraform
  
• Gitlab
  
• Spark (Python and Scala)
• Cloudera Platform (Hive, Impala, SQL)
• Consultancy experience
• Previous experience gained in mid-size/large, international companies
• Fluent communication skills in English

Skills we'd consider a plus:

• Knowledge of more than one cloud
• Terraform, GitLab, Databricks, WLA, Oracle
• Relevant AWS certification: Solutions Architect Associate or Data Engineer
• Strong communication skills
