Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Reports To: Controller

Direct Reports: 10 Accounts Payable Specialists

Location: Ontario, CA | Hybrid (2 remote days/week)

Salary Range: \(90,000 to \)100,000 based on experience + discretionary annual bonus

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable Manager to join our esteemed organization. In this critical remote-capable position, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, overseeing payment schedules, and managing cash flow effectively. You will lead a team of dedicated Accounts Payable Specialists, fostering their professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the efficient and precise processing of invoices.
  • Monitor and manage payment schedules and cash flow, preparing comprehensive monthly reports on Accounts Payable activities, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Accounts Payable staff, ensuring their continuous development.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments promptly.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth operational processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software; experience with Yardi is advantageous.
  • Capability to manage cash flow and payment schedules effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role leading a team.
  • Experience in the Real Estate, Property Management, or Construction sectors is preferred.
