Job description

Position: Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst

We are thrilled to present an opening for a Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst to become a vital part of our dynamic team at a prestigious private university in Los Angeles, CA. This remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with external vendors, system owners, community partners, contractors, and leadership to design, implement, and optimize revenue cycle information systems, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and supporting our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving service issues, and managing enhancement requests with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis by reviewing documentation and requirements to devise effective solutions that align with our organizational objectives.
  • Engage proactively in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to business transformation and system innovations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in system management, supporting system activities while staying abreast of technical standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish project goals and milestones, manage tasks diligently, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Generate both standard and custom reports as necessary to meet organizational requirements.
  • Mentor and train new staff while collaborating with vendors and customers during system implementations to facilitate smooth transitions.

  • Familiarity with performance improvement strategies and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree complemented by a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Soarian application and HL7 interface troubleshooting.
  • Experience within a healthcare information systems environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle functions such as Scheduling, Registration, HIM coding and abstracting, Patient Accounting, and Billing is advantageous.
