Job Overview

We invite experienced Nurse Practitioners with a strong management background and a commitment to aiding patients with substance use disorders (SUD) to consider an exciting opportunity as an SUD Program Manager. Join our dedicated team in a remote capacity and play a vital role in merging patient care with strategic program management within our newly formed SUD Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver same-day access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients seeking SUD services, including both in-office and remote inductions.
  • Evaluate initial care levels and effectively coordinate patient admissions into the program alongside the SUD team.
  • Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Director and Medical Director to establish goals for the SUD program aimed at enhancing service access and improving the quality of the MAT initiative.
  • Oversee grants by managing applications, budgets, and preparing regular data and narrative reports, ensuring all grant deadlines are adhered to while participating in relevant meetings and training sessions.

Required Skills

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with the capability to work autonomously within three years of employment.
  • Board Certified.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active DEA number.
  • At least three years of clinical experience, including a minimum of one year in behavioral health and/or substance use disorders.
  • A minimum of one year in a management or supervisory role with a high level of autonomy.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must apply for a California license if coming from out of state.

Compensation And Benefits

Salary: \(143,400 - \)180,650 (full-time annual salary). Higher compensation may be available for candidates with advanced skills directly related to the role.

  • 100% employer-paid health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents (medical, dental, and vision).
  • 27 vacation days, 11 paid holidays, and over 8 days of sick leave (1 hour accrued for every 30 hours worked).
  • 6% match on retirement plans.
