Job description

Role: IT SAP Technical Analyst
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Work Hours: US Time
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in Brazil)

IT Technical Analyst will be the liaison between the Product Owner user stories and the technical design. This position should have strong business acumen and the ability to understand business requirements and turn them into the technical details needed for the developers to build the solutions.

Responsibilities:

Systems and Application Development and Deployment

Participate in the deployment, maintenance, upgrade and troubleshooting core business applications and systems
Participate in the development, analysis, prioritization, and organization of specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance · Define solution limitations and requirements
Work with Architects to ensure all systems integrate into the solution's technology stack
Communicate the solution context and intent and align development stakeholders on the technical direction

Testing, Documentation and Procedures

Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
Develop and maintain technical documentation (processes, designs, etc.)
Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms

Team Leadership

Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members. Serve as the first reviewer for work performed by junior team members

Must have Experience:

SAP S4 / HANA implementation for a large organization with specific focus on the SD, MM, PP and QM modules
5+ years of experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
Strong knowledge of business processes, and how data and software applications support those processes
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com will be considered an asset
Working knowledge of PriceFx will be considered an asset
Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with packaged and/or SaaS applications.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks such as Kanban preferred
Strong proficiency in estimation and planning

Certifications:

Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Business or related field
Technical Certification(s) within Software Development discipline or Software Application is preferred
Preferred Fluent in Portuguese (Brazil) and English to cover global needs is preferred

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Visio, Teams
