We are on the lookout for a skilled Wireless Network Engineer to contribute to our dynamic and rapidly expanding organization, proudly recognized as a leading Cisco Gold Partner in the Eastern Region. With an impressive portfolio of industry accolades, our firm excels in delivering an extensive array of Cisco solutions encompassing enterprise networking, security, wireless, and data center technologies. This role features a stimulating blend of implementation (approximately 80%) and solution design (approximately 20%) for mid to large enterprise clients in the Northeast region.

Key Responsibilities

As a Wireless Network Engineer, you will engage in a variety of challenging projects that involve designing and implementing intricate wireless solutions. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Performing wireless site surveys and assessments.
  • Crafting wireless solutions that leverage the latest enterprise networking technologies.
  • Implementing and supporting solutions in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Facilitating knowledge transfer and producing comprehensive design and operational documentation for clients.
  • Conducting quality assurance reviews and collaborating with colleagues on projects.
  • Fostering robust relationships with clients and internal teams.

Required Skills

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in deploying and implementing large, complex wireless solutions (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Cisco DNA Center).
  • Proficiency in conducting site surveys utilizing Ekahau.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, alongside problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with working at a Value Added Reseller (VAR) or IT Solutions Provider is advantageous.
  • A willingness to travel within the region up to 50% as required.
  • Vendor certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in wireless network engineering.
