About this Role

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer with a strong focus on React to join our team. You will play a key role in building a new platform and scaling it with additional features and functionality. As a senior engineer, you'll have a significant impact on technical decisions and contribute to architecture planning. This is a full-time remote role with the start date planned for January 1, 2025. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the front-end development of a new platform using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to create seamless and high-performing user interfaces.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and efficient code while implementing best practices in software design.
• Translate complex business requirements into user-friendly, functional applications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are maintained.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimizing performance across browsers and devices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a deep focus on React and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Experience with front-end build tools and modern workflows (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Expertise in state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or similar.
• Good level of English (you will be working with the English-speaking team).



Nice to have

• Familiarity with Next.js or similar React frameworks.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• Background in building scalable SaaS platforms or working in the building technology space.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools such as Lighthouse.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
