Position Overview:

We are looking for a driven Private Equity Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in evaluating investment opportunities and supporting private equity initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and financial statement analysis expertise, with a deep understanding of financial modeling, valuations, and market research. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) to assess potential investments.
• Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling, to support investment decisions.
• Investment Evaluation: Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses to assess the risk and return of investment opportunities.
• Reporting: Prepare investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders and investment committees.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics to provide strategic insights.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior analysts, associates, and partners to support deal execution and portfolio management.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounting and financial statement analysis, with a strong ability to build financial models for forecasting.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
• Tools: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with PowerPoint, Google Drive, and financial databases.
• Analytical Ability: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information clearly.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with certifications like CPA/CFA or exposure to private equity and venture capital markets would be a plus.
