To sustain our growth, we are looking for a new Product Manager to join our team.

■Main responsibilities

  • Liaise with external Japanese partners to support integration with TableCheck
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovation
  • Elaborate product backlog and specs and closely partner with Engineering, Design and QA team to implement end to end solution.
  • Own Product Roadmap
  • As needed lead user research to improve product and contribute to its strategy to achieve customer retention and growth.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders’ groups, including senior management

■Mandatory Skills

  • 4+ years’ experience Product Management in a SaaS company, preferably at the intersection between B2C and B2B
  • English and Japanese business levels required
  • Strong understanding of OTA services and platform functionalities
  • Familiarity with API and integration management
  • Ability to build trust through collaboration and effective communication (verbal and writing)
  • Starts with ‘why’ - obsesses over problems over solutions.
  • Good communicator - can understand and convey complex problems in a easy to grasp manner
  • Highly collaborative
  • Ability to define and prioritize initiatives while working cross-functionally and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Empathetic with the capacity to put themselves in their customer shoes.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Must be able to overlap with Japan time zone business hours, at minimum from 1 pm to 7 pm JST.

■Preferred Skills

  • Knows ins and outs of F&B industry; educational background and or experience in Restaurant/Hotel Management
  • Experience working in a start-up environment.
