Key Responsibilities

• Deliver counseling and guidance services to students in grades 6-12, assisting them in navigating their educational pathways.

• Support students in establishing and attaining their personal, academic, and post-secondary aspirations.
• Conduct both individual and group counseling sessions to help address social, emotional, and academic challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and well-being.
• Aid students in developing essential life skills and making informed decisions regarding their futures.

• Familiarity with Xello or similar career and college planning platforms is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging effectively with students in a virtual setting.

Qualifications

• A valid State of Iowa school counselor certification is mandatory.
