Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and assess tax returns, extensions, and tax planning calculations tailored to various entities, with a focus on individual and family requirements
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of financial statements and execute accounting tasks, including necessary adjustments and bank reconciliations
• Develop and review intricate tax planning projections for both individual and corporate estimated tax obligations
• Ensure timely delivery of client services while meeting all deadlines
• Prepare or review complex U.S. and state individual income, gift, and estate tax returns
• Engage in tax research and draft memorandums summarizing findings and conclusions
• Respond to inquiries and audits from the IRS and state agencies
• Facilitate effective communication among clients, team members, and IRS representatives regarding diverse tax matters
• Lead initiatives within the department related to software, processes, and workflows
  
  

Required Skills

• 4-10+ years of relevant experience in tax management
• Proficiency in individual tax compliance and planning (experience with CS Suite and UltraTax is advantageous)
• Familiarity with tax research tools (RIA)
• Knowledge of gift, estate, and trust returns is favorable
• Experience with partnership tax is a plus
• An approachable and friendly demeanor, complemented by a team-oriented mindset
• A proactive and innovative attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow
