Responsibilities:

Identify crypto-friendly jurisdictions and be in charge of licensing applications/registrations for these regions, e.g. crypto licensing regimes in Europe (Bank of Lithuania) or the Middle East (Dubai VARA), etc
Act as the key project manager, liaise and coordinate with external consultants/lawyers during the licensing process
Formulate, review, and update the Compliance Manuals according to the licensing requirements, e.g., Bank of Lithuania or Dubai VARA, regulated activities
Handle regulatory filings and inquiries from regulatory bodies
Perform regular compliance checking and monitoring to ensure business activities comply with regulatory requirements
Design compliance-related workflow to support business and operational-related work
(Post-licensing) Monitor and maintain staff dealing and CPT records
(Post-licensing) Provide internal training and update training materials when necessary

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business, or Law related
Relevant experience in regulatory compliance and/or licensing roles in financial institutions (banking, consulting, tech, start-up, e-commerce, payment)
Excellent project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Good command of English and Putonghua/Mandarin
A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-powered tech start-up environment
The candidate will have less experience and will be considered as a Regulatory Compliance and Licensing Manager
