Job description

Job Summary:

Oversee and manage execution of all details for VIP Events, LQM & Workshopalooza workshops, stand-alone workshops, and manage some of the Events Team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the purpose, history, goals and requirements for every workshop.
  • Create and maintain a persona for each workshop including the vision, feel, attendee experience and life changes because of each workshop to meet the needs of each member at different stages in their HTM journey.
  • Create and maintain a persona for each workshop facilitator including presentation style, meeting room preferences, curriculum requirements, AV/internet/power requirements, stage requirements and relevant details
  • Main point of contact for all workshops
  • Keep current the details for each workshop: room set (and context), agenda, facilitator communications, print and digital materials, in addition to the details in each persona
  • Oversee the planning and execution of workshops at four LQMs and four Workshopaloozas per year
  • Collaborate closely with Advisor and Special Counsel to the CEO, Events Manager, Events Coordinator: Materials, Workshops Manager and Director of Events; provide regular updates to Director of Events with relevant workshop information
  • Manage budgets and timelines efficiently and effectively
  • Look for opportunities to iterate and improve
  • Host follow up calls with facilitators to look for accomplishments and opportunities to improve
  • Special projects as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Management experience
  • Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenses
  • C-suite communication and collaboration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and HTM event management software
  • Proficiency with basic audio visual set up

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel: Travel is required for LQM, Workshopalooza, Special Events conference execution

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are to be determined in conjunction with supervisor. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
