Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Director of Executive Engagement and Event Strategy to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with our Executive Practitioners to elevate CxO interactions, enhance customer wallet share, and drive thought leadership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish trusted relationships with key customers, accelerating our growth trajectory towards a $20B target.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive events-driven customer engagement strategy that aligns with the objectives of the Transformation Office and key marketing stakeholders.
  • Create an executive-level summary view of the event strategy and maintain a rolling quarterly plan to address both internal initiatives and external engagements.
  • Proactively coordinate both hosted and third-party events, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic vision.
  • Oversee event execution, from planning and milestone tracking to logistical coordination and reporting on post-event insights.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in consulting, executive engagements, or speaker bureaus within the cloud or enterprise SaaS/software sectors.
  • Exceptional storytelling capabilities with a strong understanding of narrative structure and design.
  • Proven ability to build consensus among influential stakeholders and drive projects towards successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams in either direct or matrixed environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the capability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • High energy, a robust work ethic, and disciplined execution skills are essential, along with the willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
