Coordinator, Channel Marketing

Based: California, US or Remote (US)
Term: Full time
Salary: $50K-$60K, and generous benefits

Job Summary:

Assist the Focusrite Group US Brand Marketing Managers (Focusrite, Novation, ADAM Audio, Sequential, and Oberheim) in all areas of communication and interaction with our sales channel. Responsible for the accuracy and quality of our product listings on dealer websites; Ensure our products are represented to the highest standard and within brand guidelines via regular phone and email communication. Track and log progress at all times to be able to give regular status updates to management.

Coordinate effective marketing communications and campaigns to maximize brand awareness and desirability, ultimately resulting in positive trackable ROI. Track the tactical output of our dealers and hold them accountable to their marketing campaign agreements. Assist the brand managers with analyzing sales data and identifying and presenting opportunities and strengths/weaknesses in our dealer network.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist with facilitation of all US dealer marketing communications and product messaging to ensure accurate and relevant brand representation online, in print, and across all other sales channel activities.
  • With guidance from the US Brand Marketing Managers, take ownership of all aspects of channel marketing strategy.
  • Facilitate product launches within the dealer network, including creation of dealer-specific build sheets, custom assets, and creation of announcement and reminder emails.
  • Work with dealers to ensure all tactics laid out in partner agreements are performed on time and to specification.
  • Work with the Sales team to develop a partner program with select dealers.
  • On-going channel auditing to ensure continued brand, messaging, and asset accuracy and relevancy.
  • Create and perfect a precise and scalable website auditing method from which you can pull and present updates and proof of performance reports.
  • During audits, identify opportunities for new or additional marketing. Highlight to the brand managers strengths/weaknesses in our dealer network that could be improved.
  • Work with the creative team to request as-needed campaign marketing assets. For example, writing briefs for web display banners, email comms, and print adverts.
  • Develop as-needed point-of-sale solutions from conception to installation.
  • Awareness and following of dealer channel customer comms – email, social media, events.
  • Meet regularly with the Director, Field Training/Product Specialists, and the US product specialist team to determine the in-store asset and training requirements needed to drive sales and improve product understanding and awareness.
  • Keep marketing assets organized in a structured and methodical manner in internal company storage apps

 Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Experience with HubSpot and MailChimp CRM apps a plus.
  • Experience with Wrike, Miro, Dropbox and Brand Maker task and asset management. apps a plus.
  • A passion for music and a basic understanding of music tech/creation will be highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with US music industry dealer network, online and brick & mortar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing-related field or equivalent experience.
