Climate Program Manager - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Program Manager to join our Climate Technology and Manufacturing initiative, Scale For ClimateTech. This remote position will play a pivotal role in accelerating the commercialization of groundbreaking climate technologies and fortifying New York’s status as a leader in climate solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Scale For ClimateTech program and its associated services.
• Oversee multiple projects, managing timelines and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, NextCorps, NYSERDA, and a network of advisors and experts.
• Utilize insights from previous program cycles to enhance future iterations of the program.
• Secure partnerships and resources essential for program delivery.
• Manage outreach, recruitment, onboarding, and participation of companies within the program.
• Foster relationships with Program Advisors, Experts, and the broader climate technology community.
• Lead logistics and production for both virtual and in-person program events.
• Support external communications and engage with stakeholders to deepen understanding of climate solutions’ impact on innovation and economic development.

• Proficient in program management with a strong operational focus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage resources effectively.
• Experienced in executing impactful online and in-person events.
• Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with innovative climate solutions, equity and justice in climate initiatives, and New York State’s climate policies.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of six years’ experience in project management and operational roles.
• Proven experience with startups, entrepreneurial support programs, and knowledge of climate solutions.
• Understanding of New York State’s climate and economic development objectives.

This role offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from \(90,000 to \)105,000 alongside a comprehensive benefits package, including:
