Position Title: Project Manager, Food Program - Remote

Salary: \(120,000 - \)130,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Overview

As a Project Manager, you will be integral to the success of a high-profile food program designed for a Fortune 5 global client. This role requires you to be the primary liaison between the client and external vendors, ensuring excellence in project execution throughout the project lifecycle. You will oversee the organization and management of all aspects of food program projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timely delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and overall client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Program Lead, you will play a vital role in maintaining the program’s high standards and consistency to provide an exceptional dining experience for office employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a variety of food program projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet client expectations and timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and vendors, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and provide stakeholders with updates on milestones.
  • Control project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teams across operations, procurement, and facilities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Deliver regular status updates and reports on project developments, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
  • Ensure vendors meet contractual obligations, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and recommend improvements for future initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for managing client and vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools.
  • Knowledge of contract management and compliance, particularly in vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for quick risk identification and resolution.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects under strict deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably within foodservice, hospitality, or corporate sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage several projects concurrently, focusing on timelines and budget adherence.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, particularly with corporate or global clientele.
  • Familiarity working with cross-functional teams and managing communications among stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • A degree in business, communications, finance, or a related field is required.
