Position: Dual Board Certified Anesthesiology/Pain Medicine Physician Consultant

Our organization is committed to delivering unparalleled nationwide physician reviewer coverage, focusing on evidence-based practices to ensure objective and defensible assessments in the medical review process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of medical records with an emphasis on pre-authorizations, medication evaluations, and disability case assessments.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of care based on an analysis of diagnosis, mechanism of injury, and treatment protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care and quality assurance.
  • Remain current with evolving medical practices and industry standards affecting your specialty.

Required Skills

  • Active, unrestricted physician licensure in Texas, Oklahoma, or California.
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology or Pain Medicine.
  • Proficient understanding of utilization review and peer review processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and manage time efficiently.

Qualifications
