Job Summary

Rad Science, a team under Real Chemistry, specializes in creating scientific visualization and innovative experiences . This unique team — inclusive of dozens of artists and PhDs/ PharmDs/ MDs specifically trained in turning complex scientific messages into simple, memorable illustrations, animations, apps, decks, and medical congress booth experiences. 

We are seeking an Account Director to join our team with the goal of helping our clients strategize, manage and execute creative and compelling deliverables.  

This role is remote in the US or you have the ability to work in any of our US offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, with a preference for candidates located on the eastern or central time zones. 

What You'll Do

I. Client Services 

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships for assigned book(s) of business and ensure the success of day-to-day operations
  • Assume accountability for anticipating client needs and providing solutions with proper planning, informing, and delegation
  • Work closely with agency leadership to demonstrate accountability for agency performance
  • Adeptly n avigate a large matrix of client partners to effectively coordinate solutions and champion respective needs

II. Business Management

  • Display forward thinking and identify opportunities for growth within existing scope s of work and across client business
  • Plan annual and quarterly financial forecasts for each account owned/managed
  • Develop and implement strategic client business plans , tailored to client needs and industry trends

I II . Professional development & team mentorship 

  • Supervise and mentor respective team, manage team expectations and identify strength and development opportunities for direct reports
  • Effectively train reports with proper onboarding to the business, helping them to acclimate through shadowing and applicable/tangible work experience

What You Should Have

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in an account management/client facing role within an agency setting working with pharma and biotech clients. Oncology experience is preferred.
  • Supervisory / managerial skills, with ability to manage and cultivate junior team members, and effectively collaborate with vendor partners
  • Experience cross collaborating with cross-functional teams ( i.e production, scientific strategy, and project managers) to execute deliverables for clients. 
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal skills. 
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office to produce client materials. 

The position requires some domestic and international travel for client meetings and conferences ( up to 20 -30% )

Pay Range: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
