Description

Position Overview:

As a Remote Virtual Legal Assistant for law offices, you will provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and legal staff. Your responsibilities will include managing communication, scheduling, document preparation, and handling various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations in a legal setting. Opportunity to work with leading law firms across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates.
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize digital files, client records, and case management systems.
  • Conduct legal research and gather case information as requested.
  • Process billing, invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and comply with all legal office procedures.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, such as managing social media accounts and client newsletters.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a virtual assistant, legal secretary, or in a similar role in a law office.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, documents, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, legal practice management software, and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Experience working with multiple clients or attorneys simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of legal billing software and electronic filing systems.
  • Paralegal certification or relevant legal education.
