The Role

Harneys Fiduciary Accounting Services team is expanding and we are looking for talented and energetic Accountants to support our growing team based in Cyprus, but serving our global client base. This is a great opportunity for someone to work in a professional environment with a team of qualified accountants and gain tremendous experience and growth during the process. The role is remote, but may be asked from time to time to join the office.

Who you’ll be working with

The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting Client Services team and will have support at all times during their venture with Harneys Fiduciary.

What you’ll be doing

You will be working independently but with the support of more experienced colleagues and will be providing accounting and unaudited financial statement preparation services primarily to BVI Entities.

Responsibilities

• Communication with clients on a daily basis, to obtain relevant information for the accounting of the client company and response to clients queries;
• Preparation of accounting records and unaudited IFRS Financial Statements primarily for British Virgin Islands (BVI) entities and Cyprus Companies;
• Handle the overall engagement economics (billing, collections etc);
• Administration work to support the department where required;
• Adhoc tasks as required.

During your time with Harneys Fiduciary you will be expected to work independently, but will of course have support at all times.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience and knowledge of IFRS.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting and Finance or other related field.
• Partly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CPA) will be considered an advantage.
• Quick learner with willingness to learn and improve.
• Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English.
• Needs to be based in Cyprus.
