Job description

[REMOTE] | [FULL-TIME]

Tech To The Rescue is looking for a Nonprofit Relations Manager to join our team! You will work closely with top Social Good Organizations from the Middle East and Africa. Your major responsibility would be to acquire great non-profits from those regions and scope their tech projects, including AI related ones, so that they are ready to build digital solutions with our Tech Partners.

Your Responsibilities

  • Acquire organizations from the Middle East and Africa with the best potential to ideate tech projects for the regular pipeline, the Crisis Response Unit, or the AI For Changemakers Program.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with non-profit organizations, umbrellas or accelerators with the potential to be TTTR’s Referral Partners.
  • Scope technology projects from the organizations registered in TTTR, helping them to understand the technological aspects and the potential impact of their ideas.
  • Support organizations in the process of registering or submitting projects to TTTR.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Crisis Response Unit, AI for Changemakers, Growth/Marketing, etc.) to achieve organizational goals.
  • Conduct the verification process of both organizations and projects.
  • Host webinars, meetings with key accounts, and participate in events.
  • Support the development of the Knowledge Center for nonprofits.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Experience with technology
    • scoping technical projects
    • translating the requests from nonprofits into tech language
    • understanding what kind of technology can be applied depending on the context
    • innovative tech mindset and interest in AI
  • Knowledge of international non-profit ecosystem and its specifics
    • Especially the Middle East and African contexts as you’ll be majorly working with organizations form the region
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in communicating with different stakeholders
    • You’ll be collaborating with other departments on different projects (e.g. Crisis Response Unit)
  • Experience with impact-related projects
  • Proficiency in English (C1)


Nice To Have

  • Experience of working in social / tech world (non-profit experience or social enterprise experience)
  • Humanitarian background (studies, volunteering or work)
  • Social media presence (LinkedIn)
  • Experience of working with Asana, Slack, Miro, Google Calendar, Apollo, Monday.com and others.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and/or French

  • Is tech-savvy and knows a lot about technology (you don’t need to create any tech solutions yourself, you just need to be confident about different technical aspects to be able to scope the projects)
  • Has interest in AI!
  • Has business analytics background
  • Is an empathetic person, who speaks non-profit language and wants to help people, is aware and concerned about world crisis
  • Is good at networking and has some connections with organizations from the Middle East
  • Focuses on the core activities, has great time-management skills
  • Is courageous and open-minded :)
  • Possesses a great sense of ownership
  • Has experience in working with Middle East organizations or is from the Middle East
  • Speaks great English & Arabic/French

Salary Range

10 000-12 000 PLN / USD 2 500 - 3 100 (employer gross on B2B) - depending on experience

At Tech To The Rescue, we are building a community of changemakers willing to scale up positive social impact using technology. We match the most effective NGOs with professional teams from top IT companies to create digital solutions addressing some of the world’s most pressing problems.

We are a non-profit organization with a global reach; In the last year, we initiated over 450+ collaborations in 50 countries, with an estimated influence on ~7M lives. In the next 3 years, we are planning to match 2000 organizations and have a positive impact on 50M people!

Our partners include some of the most renowned organizations in their fields including: Ashoka, Google.org, AWS Amazon, UN Women, Lenovo or Twilio.org. Currently we are at about 30 people in the team in total.
