Job description

Role Summary

Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst who will perform financial and operational support activities for all of their client's locations. The role's primary responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, month-end close, forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement as it relates to your job duties and all aspects of the business.

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Daylight Time (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

  • Own and update analytical reports and dashboards used by management and leadership teams and communicate them effectively
  • Support reporting for multiple locations, areas, and regions
  • Perform analysis of profit and loss on accounts monthly
  • Develop automated reporting and tools to aid management and business leaders
  • Assist with monthly closing processes and provide high-quality, timely, and accurate information
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Perform journal entries
  • Communicate with internal staff and external auditors
  • Assist with continuous improvements to current processes and become a business partner to our internal customers
  • Handle all duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of company and employee objectives and/or goals
  • Perform branch personnel correspondences regarding financial planning and analysis support

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to understand raw data and tables in accounting software to build reports
  • Experience in Microsoft Great Plains is a plus
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication with co-workers, vendors, customers, and external auditors
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail, and accuracy, personally committed to work quality
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
