Role Summary

The Marketing + Recruiting Assistant plays a key role in establishing our brand voice and content across all marketing channels to increase name awareness and attract new clients and candidates to our recruitment firm by establishing us as a modern thought leader with big sister energy. This role also works closely with the rest of the company in onboarding, launching, and seeking out external candidates for specific positions, and in specific US-based locations, through platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and social media, as well as developing relationships with potential referral sources for hyper-specific candidates with specialized language or educational requirements.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm MST

Essential Functions

  • Placemat Fill Rate: Providing the candidate team with enough candidates to reliably fill all placemats of 5+ location or skill-specific candidates at all times.
  • Content Creation:
  • Prepare and draft at least 3 pieces of content aligned with overall marketing strategy for Adventure Nanniesā€™ blog and Facebook/Instagram platforms weekly (including reels, curated shared content, static posts, and stories).-Audit past content on blogs for relevant updates and opportunities for updating with new SEO keywords.
  • Contact and cultivate relationships with PR and marketing departments at relevant brands as instructed by the Marketing Director. Seek sponsorship opportunities for events and explore blog backlinking/mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Organize and continually audit Canva and Google Docs folders to streamline asset organization, including tagging and renaming files for easy retrieval.
  • Email Marketing: create and send weekly jobs alert email, as well as quarterly candidate-facing newsletters, maintaining an open rate of over 35% and a click-through rate of 4%.
  • Metrics Reporting: Compile and report weekly metrics on various platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Google Analytics, using Metricool. Contribute to analyzing metrics, highlight anomalies for supervisors, and provide suggestions for optimization.
  • Market Research/ Trend Reporting: Provide a weekly report that includes future holidays and industry events, as well as reporting on competitors' market share, social media trends, and key pop culture or newsworthy events from the past week.

Qualifications

  • Content creation. Ability to create engaging content, including writing blog posts, social media captions, email newsletters, and website copy. Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva are also a must-have!
  • A knack for brand alignment. As a fully-remote company, our brand is our business! Helping to fine-tune our brand guidelines and follow them to a T every time without getting overly ā€œcreativeā€ is key for this role.
  • Excellent writing and grammar. Our job descriptions are world-famous in our industry, and as our company grows and we often have 5-8 new positions to announce in a week, keeping our job descriptions fresh, accurate, and enticing to candidates is a high priority! Our followers love pointing out our (rare) spelling or grammatical mistakes - they keep us on our toes!
  • Self-Directed Problem Solver. Demonstrates a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and triage problems. Proficient in identifying and implementing solutions to overcome challenges, and adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward and resolve issues in real-time
  • Dynamic, Respectful Communication. Teaches and models respectful communication within internal staff and to all candidates or potential candidates our team is interacting with, both in one-on-one communication and in templated or external-facing communication. Understands a leaderā€™s role in being dynamic in communication with different personality types and working styles and adapting to team memberā€™s preferences when appropriate to create sustainable, healthy, and high-performance work environments.
  • Collaboration. Youā€™re going to be working closely with the marketing director and other directors to work towards our company-wide goals, and developing new systems for external targeted recruitment, paying close attention to our metrics to help guide our ship in new directions in the months ahead!
  • Ownership. Taking full ownership and accountability of your leadership role and your teamā€™s processes, successes, challenges, and KPIs.
