Job description

Position: Associate Product Marketing Manager

Location:Remote

About The Job,

The person in this role is an essential member of the marketing team binding product strategy with industry and competitor research to develop effective marketing tactics that generate Marketing-Qualified Leads (MQLs), Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), and drive sales. You will be focused on amplifying our product story to reach our audience. You will have the opportunity to work across functional groups to drive integrated campaigns, product launches, sales enablement initiatives, and other go-to-market programs.

Responsibilities

  • Build our positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market to support all our marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Work closely with product managers to align on key market problems and overall go-to-market strategy
  • Plan the launch of all new features and new products. This includes defining the value proposition, messaging, and orchestrating the creation of new collateral and assets
  • Deeply understand how to scope and execute marketing strategies needed to reach different customer segments
  • Author and own product content marketing for product positioning, case studies, battle cards, feature sheets, and selling tools and drive top-of-funnel leads in collaboration with the broader marketing team
  • Manage external agencies and vendors as needed
  • Identify success metrics for campaigns and activities, and drive regular communication on progress with key stakeholders
  • Partner with growth marketing, content, design, and communications teams to ensure we are telling our story across all of our channels.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Must have 3+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Have a portfolio of past product/marketing work to demonstrate writing and communication skills with product/content marketing.
  • Exceptional skills in creating differentiated product positioning and company messaging
  • Familiar with digital marketing automation tools such as HubSpot and Google Analytics
  • Strong ROI/metrics-tracking skills
  • Strong presentation skills to represent Scrut in customer meetings, virtual events and webinars, conferences, and more
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
