Project Description:
The project is for a large-scale mass meter reading company. The position is largely self-contained.

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain data pipelines for large-scale meter reading systems
• Develop and manage GCP infrastructure with Terraform, IAM, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Workflows, and Cloud Build
• Oversee BigQuery infrastructure, including dataset management and schema design
• Administer ElasticSearch clusters
• Write automation scripts in Bash, Python, and Node.js for builds and operations
• Manage data models with DBT and perform data transformations in BigQuery
• Create reports in Looker Studio or Power BI (nice to have)
• Write Python or Node.js scripts for Firestore data management
• Provide DevOps support for Firestore and related tools
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with GCP tools (Terraform, IAM, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, etc.)
• Experience with BigQuery, including advanced SQL
• Ability to manage ElasticSearch clusters
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Node.js)
• Knowledge of DBT for data modeling
• Familiarity with Firestore and related scripting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• English proficiency: B2/C1
Nice to have:
• Experience with Looker Studio or Power BI (nice to have)
