Overview:
The Professional Services Project Manager will provide best-in-class task and timeline management for multiple complex Q-SYS programming engagements simultaneously. They will have the ability to mange customer meetings, necessary contractual documentation, archiving of deliverables, and project timelines with a professional blend of customer service and assertiveness. The Professional Services Project Manager will work closely and collaboratively with Professional Services leadership, programmers, QSC’s global application engineering team, QSC sales, and a wide range of QSC clientele.
Base Pay Range: $75,000 - $101,000

The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. Responsibilities:
- Analyze contractual obligations to determine and communicate necessary milestones to be managed in order to deliver successful AV software experiences. This includes thorough examination of AV systems drawings, specifications, and narratives as well as customer engagement.
- Develop and maintain internal tools to track contract progress over time utilizing tools like Microsoft Teams, Tasks by Planner, Excel, and Salesforce.
- Manage ongoing customer meetings, UCI reviews, deployment schedules, and site readiness.
- Scheduling and utilization oversight of a lean, but high-performing team of dedicated programmers and commissioning engineers.
- Write or review detailed SOWs, Change Orders, and submit statements of completion.
- Manage Deficiency Reports and deliver viable resolution plans to customers.
- Track programming warranty period and related tech support cases. Interact with post-sales tier 2 and tier 3 tech support as needed.
Qualifications:
• BA in Communications or related field preferred
• Industry certifications including AVIXA, Q-SYS, PMI, and AQAV appreciated
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in commercial AV installation/integration project management, programming services, or manufacturer application engineering/technical training role within commercial AV industry
• Experience and comfort with video teleconferencing, control, and audio-video distribution systems especially as it relates to Q-SYS portfolio of hardware and software solutions
• Proven ability to organize and propose rigorous schedules in response to evolving internal and external project updates
• Experience with legal documentation (Master Services Agreement review, redlines, fixed and T&M contracts) a plus
• Ability to think and work independently a must.
• Ability to effectively communicate using clear, concise, and declarative communication techniques. Proven ability to remove ambiguity from customer expectations.
