Job description

Our client, an elite ServiceNow partner, is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join their team on a contract basis, working remotely in the U.S. The successful candidate will convert ITAM business requirements into effective solutions using best practices and advanced methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • As the Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant, you will be responsible to transform ITAM business requirements and technical challenges into seamless technical solutions.
  • You will facilitate workshops, write white papers and share success stories to disseminate knowledge within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with technical team members to create next-gen platform technologies and refine delivery methodologies.
  • Assess concepts and recommend optimal solutions using techniques from simple comparisons to sophisticated ROI calculations.
  • Provide peer mentoring and coaching to technical consultants and team members.

Skillset

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in ServiceNow architecture, design, implementation and technical expertise in complex environments.
  • Expertise in key cloud technologies with extensive hands-on experience using ServiceNow.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. Certifications in ITIL, ITAM are a bonus.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM, including Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, Model Management, Contract Management and CMDB.
  • Understanding of technical components such as LDAP, VPN and SSL.
  • Experience with core process areas: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, Request Management, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, lead complex projects, and align technology with business needs and outcomes.
