Job description

Anrok is pioneering the way in addressing a crucial challenge for businesses worldwide: navigating the complex realm of sales tax and VAT. As tax regulations continue to change and become more intricate, companies require a dependable and automated solution to manage risk and ensure global compliance doesn’t become a drag on their revenue. Anrok’s cutting-edge platform seamlessly integrates with various billing and payment systems, streamlining sales tax monitoring, registration, reconciliation, and filing across multiple jurisdictions.

As a Product Manager at Anrok, you will own the application onboarding experience and accelerate user activation. You will work closely with engineering to design and ship a self-serve experience for startups getting started on the Anrok platform. You will work closely with engineering, sales, customer support, and finance teams to create a seamless customer activation experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify, measure, and reduce bottlenecks in the customer journey from prospect to paid customer to support making the right growth decisions for Anrok.

  • Develop strategies for improving the customer onboarding experience to accelerate the customer’s journey from sign-up to getting value from Anrok.

  • Own the customer onboarding experience and launch improvements from small features to the future self-serve product

  • Work cross-functionally to prioritize and launch new products and features on the Anrok platform

  • Do whatever it takes to make your product launch and team successful. The buck stops with you.

What excites us:

  • 4+ years of work experience, ideally a minimum of 3 years in a customer-centric product or activation or growth product role

  • Advanced data analysis skills: expertise working with large, unstructured data sets and building complex models. A deep understanding of Excel & equivalent analytical tools is a requirement, as is proficiency with SQL

  • Exceptional written communication skills with an emphasis on being clear, concise, and informative.

  • You are a self-starter with a track record of navigating ambiguity and producing concrete results.

  • You bring structure and process across multiple stakeholders to effectively manage projects.

What we offer:

  • The equity upside of an early-stage startup with the product-market fit of a later-stage company.

  • Sun and tree-filled Anrok office and onsite meals in San Francisco.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance covered 100%.

  • One Medical membership covered, flexible sick benefits, and more.

  • Generous PTO and parental leave.

  • Annual learning and development stipend for books, online courses, and conferences, as well as a curious team to share your learnings with.

  • Bi-annual team offsites and optional quarterly gatherings at the SF HQ office.

  • All the latest gadgets you need to thrive at work.

For employees based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we follow a hybrid model where we come into the office 3 days a week to collaborate in person. For employees located outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, you will work remotely full-time.
