The Opportunity

Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.

The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.

Program Details

An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora’s career growth opportunities.

2025 Program Dates

  • June 2 - August 15, 2025
  • Working hours: 36hrs/week. Monday – Friday, PST
  • June 16 – 19: On-Site Week in San Francisco at headquarters office
  • June 30 – July 4: Week off for vacation

POSITION TITLE: Treasury, Intern

The Treasury Intern will support Sephora’s Treasury and Loss Prevention Teams. For Treasury, the individual complete operations in daily cash processing, store support functions, monthly reporting processes, and payment processing initiatives. For Loss Prevention, the individual will support payment investigations and processes focused on minimizing risk and loss to the company.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Process daily cash reporting and identify exceptions
  • Monitor and alert for any banking and payment related issues.
  • Execute store openings and assists with existing store support functions.
  • Prepare month end processes including variance analysis of financial reporting actuals to forecast
  • Assist in payment processing project launches and reporting optimization of bank fees
  • Work with Loss Prevention on key areas of shrink and internal fraud
  • Assisting in payment investigations to minimize chargebacks or fraud attacks

Qualifications & Experience

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Exhibits critical thinking and skills to improve processes and systems.
  • Exhibits attention to details, review of work, and strong communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel is a plus.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Graduating in 2025 or 2026 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
  • Remote program – work schedule must align with Pacific Standard Time
  • Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
  • Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions *
  • Available for the 1-week On-Site office experience in San Francisco, CA

The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
