Technology Consultant

As a Technology Consultant, you will participate in client-facing projects with responsibility for the installation and successful delivery of Epicor applications. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and other project team members by performing tasks related to implementations, upgrades, conversions, and recoveries. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, defining and documenting implementation technical requirements, and providing technical support to field engineers, technicians, and applications support personnel. We are seeking applicants with strong troubleshooting methodology/skills, the ability to build strong relationships with customers, and a customer-centric, results-oriented mindset.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build relationships with our customers to obtain a deep understanding of their needs and environments.
• Define and document implementation technical requirements.
• Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and applications support personnel in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging software and computer, network, and/or wireless systems.
• Configure, document, and test software.
• Advocate for the customer by owning and driving resolution on escalated issues, working with project managers and other functional leaders.
• Meet utilization targets and complete project deliverables on time.
• Work independently on mid-sized projects.
  
  

What You Will Likely Bring

• 3+ years applicable experience consulting and demonstrated success/knowledge, with 2+ years of consulting experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Troubleshooting methodology/skills, and the ability to identify resource requirements, establish priorities for available resources, and monitor the performance of project tasks.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, including virtual presentations, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and participate in discussions with business and technical leaders.
• Customer-centric, results-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently, with a data-driven commitment to process; drive/track consistent engagement process.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
