The Opportunity
The Product Localization team is looking for a translator from EN to DE (German native speaker) for marketing and product localization (20h/week).
What You'll Do
- Transcreate web site content and marketing collaterals
- Post-edit/Review machine-translated web site content and marketing collaterals
- Review marketing transcreations delivered by vendors
- Assess the quality of the vendors’ deliverables
- Create/Maintain translation memories and terminology databases
- Localize the Planview products’ user interfaces
- Perform linguistic and functional tests
- Report and assist with resolution of I18N and L10N issue
What You'll Bring
- University degree in translation or translation diploma from a recognized translation school or equivalent degree/qualification
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Experience in transcreating for marketing and the web
- Familiarity with software localization and its best practices
- Excellent stylistic command and great accuracy, even under pressure
- Proficiency in RWS Trados Studio, RWS Passolo
- Familiarity with RWS MultiTerm and MS Office
- Team-player attitude, quality-consciousness and strong ability to execute
