We are looking for a Mid-Level Software QA/Tester to join our dynamic team in Brazil. This role involves collaborating with teams across the USA and Europe on exciting digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality assurance, eager to learn new technologies, and committed to fostering a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
Your Mission:
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications across multiple devices.
- Conduct thorough testing of web services, particularly REST APIs, and document test results and defects clearly.
- Participate in the implementation of testing best practices and the testing pyramid.
- Embrace a proactive and autonomous approach to problem-solving and learning within the team.
You need to have experience with:
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing, including planning, execution, and documentation.
- Knowledge of the testing pyramid and experience with functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience with testing web services REST and understanding of API testing tools.
- Proficiency in SQL for creating queries and analyzing database results.
- Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools (preferably JIRA).
- Intermediate English proficiency (reading and writing).
You will stand out if you have:
- Advanced and/or Fluent English.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Behat).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile projects.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
