Description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate?Education Development Coordinator?to join our team in the beauty industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing training for beauty professionals, ensuring our educators and staff have the tools and knowledge to deliver exceptional training experiences. This individual will have a deep understanding of hair extension techniques, products, and industry trends, combined with strong experience in educational program coordination. 


Job Responsibilities 

  • Training & Event Coordination:?Schedule, organize, coordinate, and facilitate in-person and virtual training events for external beauty professionals. 
  • Educator Support:?Act as a liaison between educators and the company ensuring they have all the necessary resources, training, and guidance to deliver high-quality sessions. 
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure effectiveness, making continuous improvements based on feedback from educators, trainees, and other stakeholders. 
  • Stay Updated:?Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and techniques to ensure training content is relevant and cutting-edge. 
  • Resource Management:?Manage educational resources, including product samples, tools, and digital assets required for training sessions. 
  • Program Design:?Work with Training & Program Development Manager to enhance training programs, workshops, and educational content for educators. 
Requirements

 Experience: 

  • 3+ years of experience in the beauty industry, with a background in training or education specific to hair (e.g., educator, trainer, beauty school instructor). 
  • Proven experience in program development and curriculum design. 
  • Experience presenting and running an education class
  • Comfortable with 20% travel if needed

Education: 

  • Certification or licensure in cosmetology required

Skills: 

  • Strong understanding of hair extension techniques, trends, and product knowledge. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in using e-learning platforms, content management systems, and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Jotform, Monday) 
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in a similar coordination role. 
  • Familiarity with adult training principles and instructional design methodologies. 
  • Strong passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to elevating education standard
