Job description

This is a remote position.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Makerble Results Data:
1. Verify and ensure the accuracy of results available on Makerble by comparing data from filters with spreadsheet analysis.
2. Use product knowledge to advise clients on how to maximize the use of their data.
3. Act as the problem solver for customer issues related to data inconsistencies, using a mathematical approach to identify errors or misinterpretations.
4. Identify gaps in Makerble's data analysis capabilities and suggest feature improvements for the product.

B. Makerble Company Data:
1. Analyze company data across all departments using Descriptive and Inferential Statistics, providing insights to key team members.
2. Conduct higher-level exploratory data analysis by combining various datasets to uncover trends that can drive business decisions.
3. Perform data audits across departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance, product) to identify opportunities for better data utilization.
4. Develop predictive models to explain past performance and predict future outcomes across departments, including but not limited to finance.
5. Promote data literacy across the company by providing training and embedding data-driven practices in everyday operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in data analysis, statistical methods, and data interpretation
3. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights.
4. Excellent communication skills to present data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

1. Familiarity with data auditing practices and embedding data literacy within an organization.

2. Ability to perform predictive analysis and create models for forecasting performance.

3. Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with various departments such as finance, marketing, and customer success.
