About the role
At Tietoevry Care’s Data & AI unit we are reshaping healthcare and social care services by providing our customers with data- driven solutions and cloud data platforms. Our Data & AI team consists of high-end professionals working in data science, data engineering, data modeling, data advisory, cloud solutions, security and software development.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have a key role in developing and designing data driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics - platform. You will be working in diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer’s experts.
We are looking for someone with
Several years of professional software development experience
Several years of hands-on experience of data driven solutions
Strong software development skills in Python and SQL (or other software programming languages)
Strong knowledge of big data related technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse or Apache Spark
Experience of cloud solutions
Passion to continuously learn new things and aim higher
Passion to build great products and solve complex customer problems
Confidence and willingness to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team
Excellent communications skills in English and Finnish.
It would be beneficial if you also have experience in
Social care and healthcare data
Data warehouse, data lakes or lakehouse
Dimensional data modelling, star schemas and data marts
Development of Power BI
