Opportunity Overview:

The Contract Physician Recruiter is responsible for recruiting qualified physicians across various specialties to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role involves the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the UM and digital health industry, and a talent for relationship-building with physicians.

What you will do:

  • Proactively source and identify qualified physician candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and industry events
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future staffing needs
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to assess the qualifications, experience, and fit of physician candidates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physician candidates, setting up future pipelines
  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the recruitment process, ensuring excellent communication and timely updates
  • Facilitate and negotiate employment contracts
  • Coordinate with credentialing and onboarding teams to ensure physicians meet all necessary qualifications and are properly integrated into the organization
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate progress, and outcomes in Greenhouse

 

Your background & requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Physician Recruiter
  • Experience working with organizations or physician groups on a contract basis is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of physician recruitment processes and staffing trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and other recruitment tools, Greenhouse strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with various physician specialties and licensure requirements.
