Job Purpose: 

 

This position is responsible for providing Revenue Cycle project QA reviews, associate and project process training, curriculum development, continuous support of operational leadership, as well as other quality assurance functions.  The incumbent will be knowledgeable in end-user systems and applications relative to revenue cycle management for the purpose of assessing, educating, and training colleagues on systems and applications used. 

 

Position Objectives: 

  • Audit accounts worked by colleagues to provide assurance of compliance to the Savista Best Practice standard of quality 
  • Report findings and provide feedback to colleagues and all levels of operational leadership 
  • Respond to special projects assigned by the management colleagues related to account reviews 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • The primary focus of this position is to consistently review the performance of completed work for all operational colleagues providing consistent feedback to QA leadership. 
  • Adheres to Quality Assurance measures and metrics which report any trends or process improvement opportunities for each project, office, and RCS division. 
  • Responsible for constant communication with senior leadership regarding quality monitoring results, any identified and/or recommended training needs and deficiencies, as well as possible project improvement opportunities. 
  • Reports all Quality indicators for identification of trends to determine where training deficiencies exist.  Implements corrective action plans as necessary to deploy training modules to both individual colleagues and project leadership. 
  • Maintain product knowledge expertise including new product rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements  
  • Act cooperatively and responsibly with co-workers, management, and clients. 
  • Maintain a professional attitude. 
  • Always maintain confidentiality.  

 

 Internal Responsibilities:  

  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to those identified within the Standards of Business Conduct and the Employee Handbook, as may be amended from time to time. Adheres to all applicable laws and regulations and the company's governance/compliance program.
  • Responsible for reporting violations of the company's policies and procedures, Standards of Business Conduct, governance program, laws and regulations through the company's Help Line or other mechanism that may be available at the time of the violation. Assists with internal control failure remediation efforts. 
  • Becomes knowledgeable of internal control responsibilities through training and instruction. Responsible and accountable for internal control performance within their area of responsibility. Participates in the internal controls self-assessment process.  
  • Ensures concerns with internal control design or performance and process changes that impact internal control execution are communicated to senior management. 

  

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:  

  • Some college preferred 
  • Proven oral and written presentation skills
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in Healthcare Related Field required 
  • Proven knowledge and experience in all aspects of the healthcare revenue cycle related services
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a group and support fellow leadership members 
  • Proven knowledge and experience in analytics and problem solving with the ability to recognize trends or anomalies 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output 
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products 

Note: Savista is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $53,000.00 to $58,000.00. However, specific compensation for the role will vary within the above range based on many factors including but not limited to geographic location, candidate experience, applicable certifications, and skills. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
