tml Partners are supporting a key client, an innovative SaaS company that is preparing for its next phase of growth who are now looking for a Sales Lead to accelerate its expansion.

The Opportunity

This is a unique chance to lead and build a sales function from the ground up. You’ll work in a hands-on role where you’ll also contribute strategically, driving client acquisition and developing sales strategies. If you have experience in SME scale-ups targeting the Sports, Entertainment, Hospitality sector and are ready to step into a high-impact role, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead UK Sales: Develop and implement both inbound and outbound sales strategies to drive growth and client acquisition.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, demonstrating the value of our SaaS platform.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the leadership team to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide forecasts, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Drive Differentiation: Articulate value propositions effectively in a competitive landscape, differentiating against competitors

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in a sales leadership role, ideally in B2B SaaS or Sports/Hospitality would be advantageous.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong instincts for driving new business with a proven ability to manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.
  • Adaptability: Experience working with a varied client base, from SMEs to enterprise-level businesses, and a readiness to adapt as the portfolio evolves.
  • Self-Starter: A results-driven, proactive individual with a “killer instinct” for closing deals and exceeding targets.
  • Tools Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound prospecting tools.
