We are seeking a Senior Android Developer contractor, proficient in Kotlin, to join a project for a major British media broadcast company. The role requires strong expertise in RxAndroid / RxKotlin for reactive programming, along with media playback experience. Familiarity with Android TV and Fire TV is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Implement reactive programming patterns using RxAndroid / RxKotlin.
  • Optimize and enhance media playback functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Android development using Kotlin.
  • Strong proficiency in RxAndroid / RxKotlin.
  • Experience with media playback implementation.
  • Familiarity with Android TV and Fire TV is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Location

  • You have to live and be eligible to work as a contractor in the UK or in Hungary.
