About the Job 

We are looking for four Graduate Account Managers to join our Sales and Customer Partnership teams.

All our graduates start their careers in our in-house academy. We'll help build your knowledge of the automotive industry, so you don't need to love cars to work here. Working with our talented Account Managers and Account Directors you will develop commercial insight and sales techniques that are vital to success in the role.

You'll be working with retail customers (B2B) over the phone and face to face. Like any customer focussed, sales environment, there are commercial targets and KPI's. At times, you'll have challenging conversations. For these conversations your resilience, tenacity and excellent communication skills will be essential.

You'll undertake a number of rotations within the Sales area of Auto Trader where you will spend time learning how our different teams operate. Each rotation will help build your knowledge and experience to lay the foundations for your future career at Autotrader.

Our graduate programme starts in October 2025. 

What we're looking for 
  • You'll be a recent graduate in any degree discipline (or hold a level 6 qualification) and be excited for a career in a commercial sales role
  • You will have a passion for customer service and be driven by achieving commercial goals and targets
  • You'll enjoy building relationships and shaping digital change both over the phone and face to face
  • You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to story tell and influence using data and insight
  • You’ll have the ability to adapt and learn within an ever-changing landscape
  • You'll be numerate and analytical. We would like to see your experience in collecting, analysing, and presenting data in a meaningful and engaging way

Auto Trader's Graduate Academy 

Our graduate programme is designed to fast-track your career and develop your skills. It’s a 2-year programme with a permanent role from day one.  

Your journey starts with a 6-week Academy Foundation alongside other graduates, learning about our company, culture, products and customers.
