Job description

About the PM Operations Supervisor Role:

As the PM Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for working within a team of other supervisors ensuring both inbound and outbound freight travels on time, and linehaul and PUD loading/unloading are completed in a timely manner, whilst ensuring safety is always maintained.

You will oversee all activities and resources associated with the branch, helping to achieve agreed objectives, optimising profitability, and business efficiency with a strong customer focus, in a safe and socially acceptable manner.

What you’ll do (duties/responsibilities including/not limited to):

Critical to this role is to engage the overall team to plan and coordinate daily activities and hold team members to account. This position plays an important role in achieving daily KPI’s and identifying/actioning process improvements, along with engaging support from other functional leads.

Drive cost efficiencies and effective allocation of labour and equipment, whilst ensuring the handling of dangerous goods is carried out in accordance with the Dangerous Goods Code.
