Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior HR Business Partner at Porcelain. The role involves tasks such as managing HR policies, employee relations, and performance management. The Junior HR Business Partner will also handle aspects related to human resources, labor and employment law.

Job Details:

HR Business Partnering (40%)

  • Proactive in improving overall HR procedures and efficiency to keep up with current market dynamics and the companys business demands
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Drive and support high performing cultural plans and positive employee experience interventions
  • Work closely with departments to provide manpower advisory and support in line with companys business strategies
  • Identify and develop training need of employees, and manage employee training programs
  • Introduce HR digitization process by adopting innovative HR technologies/solutions to enhance employees overall HR experience and increase productivity
  • Lead employee engagement programs such as quarterly team building, annual retreats, CSR initiatives, and any other projects assigned
  • Provide periodic HR analytical reports and metrics

HR Operations (20%)

  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Provide guidance and advice on employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other HR issues
  • Maintain accuracy and timely updates in the HRMS system
  • Evaluate and implement tools or processes to ensure governance and data integrity
  • Improve the assessment, delivery, and support execution of processes which support current and future business needs
  • Monthly payroll processing of the company and submission of statutory requirements (CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS Claims, Maternity Leave Claims, etc.)
  • Administer all Work Pass matters
  • Stay abreast of local labor regulations

Talent Acquisition (30%)

  • Responsible for the full recruitment process
  • Maintain job boards and build up the potential talent pipeline for the company.
  • Develop strategies to enhance Employer branding
  • Lead, plan and be a brand ambassador for talent acquisition activities, such as career day, campus branding and recruitment, career fairs and talks etc.
  • To participate in graduate recruitment initiatives, talent programs

Compensation & Benefits (10%)

  • Manage and implement the performance management process and annual remuneration review exercises
  • Constant reviewing effectiveness of sales incentive and commission plans as well as year-end bonus plans for the group
  • Participate in MOM salary surveys
  • Oversee and monitor performance of vendors and third-party administrators such as insurance brokers
  • Apply for government grants

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR Policies and Human Resources (HR)
  • Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law
  • Skills in Employee Relations and Performance Management
  • Min. Business Degree in a relevant Field
  • Min. 5 years experiences in HR
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiar with Microsoft, Infotech and strong Excel skills
